The American Museum of Natural History displays its collections and exhibits through glass cabinets, and enhances the display atmosphere through lighting and environment, which inspired me to use glass, acrylic and wood as the materials of display cabinets in the space near the wall in the bathroom. In the cabinet, you can display and collect the handcrafts of my customer Kate to increase the atmosphere and interest of the bathroom.

Recycled glass

Use modern technology to transform traditional materials to adapt to the sustainable development of society.

I would like to study the recycled glass as a material and a 100% recyclable recycled material.By using waste glass as the main raw material and forging at high temperature, artificial glass with rich texture can be formed, which has the texture and transparency of natural jade. By using recycled glass, the emission and consumption of raw materials can be reduced.

Sustainable glass

Sustainable glass is made from waste wood ash and shells. This material uses renewable raw materials to replace soda and limestone. Raw materials include wood ash and shells from use, which are usually discarded in large quantities and not used. As the increasingly scarce quartz sand is the main component of glass manufacturing, it is irreplaceable, but the use of wood ash and shells can help glass materials to be more sustainable.
